Karen has been associated with the firm since its inception in 2008. She is currently contracting to the firm on a part-time basis. Karen’s main focus is taxation and compliance accounting and providing support to clients. She has a particular interest in, and has become a champion of making the onerous task of tax compliance as simple and stress free as possible for clients.
Alongside accountancy Karen also enjoys time with her family, biking, and watching sport, she plays the side drum in a pipe band and is keenly learning the bagpipes. Karen spent her formative years in Mosgiel until shifting to Christchurch with her family as a teenager. She returned to Dunedin to study for her Accountancy degree at the University of Otago.
